Rain Cycling in Pulau Ubin.~17th Dec 2006

Have been planning and talking about this trip with my Uni cliques especially Sharon(a.k.a Cuiping) this P.Ubin Cycling Trip .
We were praying that it won't rain on 17/12 BUT it still rain early in the morny. However, we still went ahead with our plan. We spent the whole morny at Tampines Mall Supermarket shopping for our tibits (Hee..bought my fav.Loacker Tirmusu) and then taking our time quening for the Famous Changi Nasi Lemak @ Changi Terminal. Omg...the stall owners are really damn slow and taking their own sweet time cutting the chicken wings....Hahaha..Nvm we were also waiting for the rain to stop before heading to P.Ubin for our long earned cycling trip.
After our lunch, there we set off to the jetty for our boat to Ubin.
Hmmm the weather seems to turn better as the rain SEEMS to stop and we saw sunshine when we landed at P.Ubin. We thought the rain has ended and is going to be sunshine and we were so excited getting our bicycles ready from the rental stall....BUT to our...when we were about to set off on this island, the sky turned DARK out of sudden AND the next moment, HEAVY RAIN started to pour to our dismay!
So u think we cancelled our Ubin Cycling Plan? NOPE! We went ahead with our long earned cycling desire! Yea we knew we were taking a RISK. Bought $1.50 raincoat to wear for our cycling journey...$1.50 quality raincoat~What do u think? Poor quality loh! We still get ourselves damn wet!
Hahaha though is tough and super uncomfortable cycling under the HEAVY RAIN which gets heavier and heavier, we were still enjoying ourselves, calling ourselves THE YELLOW RIDERS!
Alot things happened during the trip...and thanks to Huiyun sway mouth, I really met with an accident...haha....What happened? I was knocked down by Sharon as I was distracted and attracted to a view on the left side AND not looking straight. There "BUMP!" , I fell and hurt and cut my KNEECAP again! This is the 3rd time this year in 2006 I think that I cut my kneecap.
Then...long story...will load all the exciting photos at a later time. For the time being, only these few photos are available.
GOSH! My handphone is SPOILED cos it was soaked under the rain for too long...All my contacts stored in the handphone were lost. So pls SMS mi your contact numbers ya! Sad, this is my fav. handphone leh cos is so LIGHT and USER-FRIENDLY cos the buttons are so easy to press that makes mi efficient in my work BUT no more now using back my OLD LAGGY BUMBBY HEAVY handphone as a replacement.
Ended our day with dinner @ Bedok Market 85~ What can I say~ The varieties of GOOD food at 85 are so much that I don't know how to choose? Hahaha we rated this MARKET 85 FIVE out of FIVE stars for its wide selection. A food centre NOT to be missed!
