Corporate,Social and Dining Etiquette
Finally went to this Corporate, Social and Dining Etiqutte today. Was optional for NTU students but Fine Dining is compulsory for the SMU students, and theirs was held in a hotel restaurant.
Ours? In school. Was initially kind of disappointed with the arrangement before I attend the course today. Was wondering, how can we learn Fine Dining without actually having the REAL FOOD on our plate in a tutorial room??? What's more, we pay 40bucks for it, and SMU students only pay 20bucks for their Fine Dining in a Hotel Restaurant!
Later, my friend, Huiyun interpret ~ is Corporate + Social + Dining Etiquette. That makes the 40 bucks more worth.
Is not that bad as I thought, at least we have our REAL PRACTICAL Fine Dining experience at the Cafe Al Quade with the real table setting and all with a 3-course meal served after the theory lesson.
The instructor is from the Audrey Quek Image Consultancy. She graduated from NUS Real Estate with an Honours and she was the Miss Singapore World for 1999 and Singapore Most Beautiful Mother for 2007. She is 才貌双全！ My idol! With not only 美貌 but also 智慧 and she is a person with 内涵 and a person of good character and golden heart.
Oh my, she is one of those few Perfect Woman that we can find in Singapore nowadays. As most of us know, Miss Singapore Universe standard has been dropping since 2001 onwards compared to those in the earlier years between 1990s to 2000.
Finally, i learnt to remove the prawns shell and eat the prawns with my Knife and Fork WITHOUT dirty my hands. Hee...... Now I understand why Fine Dining need to take at least 1 and a Half hour.
