KPMG Open House

Friday~11th May we went to the KPMG Open House. Met some of the titorial mates at the mrt control station, saw many familiar faces, looked like a mini gathering..hahaha.. It started off with a presentation of the general background of KPMG which took about 1/2 hr.

Then we get to tour around the office. mainly the audit, risk mgmt and tax dept.

During the tour at the Risk Management dept, a perm staff at that dept kept smiling and nodding head at mi at a distance away from mi. I thought do I know this person? I tried hard to recall the face BUT can't think of any in my mind. My poly mate or ex-collenge? The answer will be reveal in the next paragraph.

Finally, back to the room for reception. Then we had a networking session with some of the dept heads. They are very friendly people. Then soon all of us headed off to MOS. KP actually catered a bus for us and staffs to MOS. On the bus, a staff turned round (P/s: The one who kept smiling and nodding head at mi @ the Risk Mgt dept)...she asked: "Are you from Commonwealth Sec?, I am your junior-Shihui!" Oh, i see she was my Red Cross junior in secondary schooldays, one of my fav. junior back then who shared the same idol~Ekin Cheng as mi back in those days~That was 7 to 8 years back. Hahaha...KPMG even reserved some seats inside the bar and the finger food and drinks were all on their house, its their Spring Break Party that day. Took some pictures. (See above)
